Congress leader Rakibul Hussain should be kicked to Pakistan or Bangladesh like a football: Assam Minister

In a fiery election campaign meeting held on behalf of BJP AGP candidate Javed Islam from Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency, State Government Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah made a fervent appeal to the electorate. Speaking at the event in Lengtisinga, Bongaigaon district, Baruah urged the people to send Congress candidate Rakibul Hussain "to Pakistan-Bangladesh like a football," echoing sentiments expressed during his speech.

Baruah highlighted the scenic beauty of Dhubri, emphasizing its rivers, sandy beaches, rocks, and lush paddy fields. However, he expressed concern over exploitation attempts, stressing the need for a decisive response from the community.

Addressing the audience, Baruah drew parallels between kicking a football and the need for a forceful response to current challenges. He urged for a united effort to kicking  Rakibul Hussain like a football with such vigor that it reaches Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Reflecting on the diminishing influence of the Congress over the past decade, Baruah likened its position to being buried, stating that even after 50 years of trying, it won't resurrect. He assured the audience that figures like Rakibul Hussain cannot revive the Congress, emphasizing the need to treat him as a symbolic representation of the party's demise.

The event, marked by Baruah's impassioned address, underscored the intensity of the electoral campaign in Dhubri and the broader political landscape in Assam.

Jayanta Malla Baruah stated, "Dhubri has fish, sand, rivers, and rocks. That's why we have to educate well this time. We need to kick him like a football so that he reaches Bangladesh-Pakistan."
