Himanta Biswa Sarma: Punjab CM is welcome to Assam, he should enjoy our tea gardens

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has extended a warm welcome to Punjab Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Bhagwant Mann, who is  in Assam for election campaigning. Sarma, in a statement, expressed his pleasure at Mann's visit and invited him to experience the renowned tea gardens of Assam.

"Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann has come to Assam to campaign, he is welcome. He should enjoy our tea gardens," stated Sarma.

Earlier in the day, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwat Mann stirred up enthusiasm among supporters as he rallied for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Manoj Dhanwar in Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency.

Addressing the crowd, Mann said, "In a country where the king is a trader, the people of that country are beggars."

Mann's campaign trail commenced at the Gopnari Bengali Balijan ground in Digboi, where he articulated the principles and goals of the Aam Aadmi Party.

During his address, Mann took a swipe at the media, remarking that if the television channels in a state are controlled by the Chief Minister, they would naturally portray him in a favorable light. He humorously extended a challenge to the media present, saying, "Is there anyone from the CM's channel? Then please show him this."
