Liquor-fueled mayhem: Traffic policeman’s rampage stuns Dibrugarh

In a shocking incident reported from the Chowkidingee area of Dibrugarh, a traffic police constable allegedly drove under the influence of alcohol on Saturday evening, November 1, crashing into several vehicles and creating chaos in the locality.

According to eyewitnesses, the policeman, driving a vehicle bearing registration number AS-06-F-8135, was speeding recklessly when he rammed into multiple vehicles parked along the road. Locals rushed to the spot after the collisions and reportedly recovered liquor bottles from inside the vehicle.

The incident sparked outrage among residents, who expressed anger over a law enforcement officer violating the very traffic rules he was meant to uphold. Police soon arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control.
