The Margherita Police marked the auspicious occasion of Goru Bihu, the first day of the Rongali or Bohag Bihu, with vibrant celebrations at its police campus on Monday.
The event was filled with enthusiasm, music, dance, and a spirit of unity, reflecting the cultural richness of Assam's most beloved festival.
The celebration was graced by the presence of Margherita Co-District Police Officer Dinesh Pratap Singh Rathod, Officer-in-Charge of Margherita Police Station Protap Gogoi, Ledo Police Outpost In-Charge Jyotish Phukan, members of the Margherita Thana Committee, and numerous police personnel, constables, lady constables, and local residents.

Adding a festive touch to the occasion, Margherita police officials sang traditional Bihu songs and performed spirited Bihu dances, showcasing their deep connection to the community and its traditions.
