In a shocking incident that has sparked outrage among all the communities of Dhubri town, a liquor party was witnessed inside the office of the esteemed institution, Assam Sahitya Sabha, Dhubri branch.

The incident which took place inside the office witnessed several senior members of the prestigious institution engaging in antisocial activities, inviting outrage among the people.

The Assam Sahitya Sabha, Dhubri Sakha, known for its cultural and literary contributions to the region, has now come under scrutiny for allowing such misconduct within its office rooms. 

The  members involved in the party were Udayan Chakraborty president, Dhubri Sakha Sahitya Sabha, Hemen Chakraborty, portfolio holder, Dhubri Sakha Sahitya Sabha, Dipak Patowary, portfolio holder, central committee, Asom Sahitya Sabha including Bhaskar Barua retired employee of health department, one official staff of Assam Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) along with two others.

The revelry commenced on Saturday night, raising questions about the integrity of those involved. The incident of drinking alcohol has not only brought disgrace to the reputation of Assam Sahitya Sabha but has also underscored the need for greater accountability and responsibility among its members. 

India Today NE, uncovered the suspicious activities of the members of Assam Sahitya Sabha, Dhubri Sakha, following a month-long investigation. In light of the community's demands for prompt action and responsibility, it remains to be seen how the institution will address this breach of trust and restore its standing in the eyes of the public.
