On January 1st, 2024, the residents of Guwahati witnessed dawn breaking at 5:45 AM, with the sun peeking above the horizon at precisely 6:10 AM. 

This moment marked the beginning of a new day and a new year, offering 10 hours and 31 minutes of daylight for the city's inhabitants to enjoy.
