            <div class="clearfix text-formatted field field--name-body field--type-text-with-summary field--label-hidden field__item"><p>AIZAWL: Mizoram Police recovered and seized 5 lakhs tablets of Methamphetamine near Buichali Bridge, Sairang, Aizawl District in a joint Narcotics Operation and  its sister agency.</p><p></p><p>Reportedly, the police seized the tablets on Thursday from one truck (CRX 1512) bearing registration no. NL-01AE-0243.</p><p></p><p>The seized contraband items are worth Rs.10 crores at the local smuggling rate and Rs. 25 crores at international smuggling rate.</p><p></p><p>Police has arrested he driver of the vehicle, Mantu Kumar Deb (45) and second driver Subhas Das (33)  were arrested in this connection and produced at Special Narcotics Police Station along with the seized contraband items.</p><p></p><p>A case has been registered and investigation is underway.</p></div>
