AGARTALA: As the state is fighting a battle against the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, an AN-32 cargo plane from the Indian Air Force landed at MBB Airport in Agartala yesterday to deliver 60 oxygen concentrators that are part of the medical help that the United States provided to India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in its efforts to control the second wave of the pandemic in Tripura has pledged his full support to the Tripura government.

PM Modi called CM Deb to inquire about the COVID-19 situation and the State Government's preparedness.

Earlier yesterday, CM Deb inaugurated a 300-bed COVID Care Center in Hapania, among which 100 beds of the centre are fitted with oxygen support systems.
Moreover, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Hospital is also preparing a 100-bed infrastructure for COVID treatment, the chief minister said on Twitter.
The state in the past 24 hours reported 315 new cases and one death due to the infection.
