Amit Shah accuses Nehru of bidding 'bye-bye' to Assam during Chinese aggression

Today, in a mega rally in Lakhimpur, Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a fervent crowd, reflecting on the historical significance of India's border security, particularly highlighting the challenges faced by Assam and Arunachal Pradesh during the 1962 Chinese aggression. 

Shah stated, "people of Assam will never forget how Jawaharlal Nehru said 'bye-bye' to Assam during the Chinese aggression. Under PM Modi's government, China couldn't encroach even one inch of our land. Assam and Arunachal Pradesh can never forget 1962." This statement resonated deeply with the audience, reflecting on historical grievances and the resolve to protect India's territorial integrity.

Highlighting the achievements of the Modi government, Shah emphasized that China has been unable to encroach on Indian land under this administration. This assertion underscores the government's robust stance on national security and border defense, particularly in sensitive regions like Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Shah also commended the Modi government for securing India's border with Bangladesh and effectively curbing infiltration.
