Amit Shah highlights PM Modi's tribal empowerment in Tripura campaign

Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public rally in Agartala, Tripura, where he emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to elevate the status of tribals in India.

Shah commended PM Modi's historic decision to appoint Droupadi Murmu as the President of the country, marking a significant milestone in tribal representation in top leadership roles.

During his speech, Shah stated, "PM Modi has worked to increase the respect of tribals... For the first time after 75 years of independence, PM Narendra Modi has done the work of honoring the tribals by making Droupadi Murmu, the President of the country." This recognition of Murmu's leadership role underscores the government's commitment to empowering marginalized communities and fostering inclusivity in national governance.

Shah's visit to Agartala also marked a significant political engagement as he arrived in the city yesterday evening. He was warmly received by Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik, BJP Candidate Biplab Kumar Deb, Former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, BJP General Secretaries Amit Rakshit and Bipin Debbarma, along with MLA Bhagaban Das at the MBB Airport.
