Assam: AAP campaign with grand motorcycle rally ahead of Lok Sabha elections

With just 24 hours remaining for the election campaigning ahead of the upcoming Assam state elections scheduled for April 19th, political fervor is reaching its peak. Amidst the flurry of activities, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) made a bold statement as its members and workers roared through the streets in a grand motorcycle rally from Margherita to Jagun.

Led by Rajesh Sharma, AAP's National Executive Member and North East Incharge, the rally witnessed an impressive turnout of over 500 motorcycles, showcasing the party's determination and spirit. Speaking to the media during the event, Sharma emphasized the urgent need for change in governance, citing a plethora of issues plaguing the nation under the BJP-led government's rule.

"People want a departure from the dictatorial style of governance imposed by the current administration," Sharma stated, addressing the crowd of supporters and reporters. He highlighted pressing concerns such as the soaring prices of essential commodities, rampant unemployment, border disputes, women's safety, and the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), which have significantly impacted the lives of citizens since 2014.

Sharma echoed the sentiments of many disillusioned voters, asserting that the people of Assam and the country at large are determined to usher in a new era of governance.
