Assam: Akhil Gogoi rallies support for Lurinjyoti Gogoi in Margherita Campaign

Raijor Dal president and Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi campaigned for United Opposition Forum candidate Lurinjyoti Gogoi in the 13th Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency at Margherita.

With just  days 4 left until the 18th Lok Sabha election, Akhil Gogoi addressed a crowd of over 5000 people at Kharangkung Koriapani Rangamancha under Khumchai gaon panchayat and Inthem nagapathar Auditorium under Inthem gaon panchayat which falls under 83 no. Margherita Constituency.

Akhil Gogoi's arrival was met with a warm welcome from the gathered crowd, indicative of the enthusiasm and support for the United Opposition Forum's campaign in the region. In his impassioned speech, Akhil Gogoi criticized the incumbent BJP government led by Sarbananda Sonowal, citing issues such as price inflation, unemployment, CAA, toll gates, and border concerns as significant challenges facing the people of Assam.

Asserting unity within the opposition, Akhil Gogoi emphasized the collective strength of the Gogoi trio - Akhil Gogoi, Lurinjyoti Gogoi, and Gaurav Gogoi - in their efforts to unseat the BJP. He pledged to oust the BJP from power, symbolically stating, "we shall throw BJP to Brahmaputra river permanently."

Akhil Gogoi didn't mince words in his criticism of Sarbananda Sonowal, labeling him as "Neemati Konya" and accusing him of being a shameless and cowardly leader who failed to address the concerns of the people and secure his Chief Minister seat.

Confident in the United Opposition Forum's prospects, Akhil Gogoi predicted significant victories for Lurinjyoti Gogoi in Dibrugarh and Gaurav Gogoi in Jorhat, claiming margins of 3,00,000 and 2,50,000 votes, respectively.
