Assam: BJP leader threatens minority voters, says will cut off ears if they don't vote BJP

In a startling development, MLA Rama Kanta Deori has made controversial remarks at an election rally, threatening to harm minority voters if they do not cast their ballots for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

During the rally held in scorching heat, MLA Rama Kanta Deori warned minority voters of dire consequences if they fail to vote for the BJP, stating, "I will cut off the ears of the minority people if they do not vote for the BJP. If you don't vote for the BJP, then the sin of not voting will touch you."

Emphasizing the importance of voting for the BJP, MLA Rama Kanta Deori urged all minority voters to support the party in the upcoming elections. He expressed suspicion towards minority voters, particularly noting their failure to vote for the BJP in previous elections despite joining the party in his presence.

MLA Rama Kanta Deori further highlighted the need for minority voters to participate in the BJP's Arunodaya Yojana, urging BJP workers to distribute forms for the scheme at night.
