Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma hails vibrant Silchar roadshow with Union Minister Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah led a mammoth rally in Silchar, Assam, today as part of the Vijay Sankalp Yatra, rallying support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The event, held on April 21, witnessed an overwhelming turnout from various corners of Silchar.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet lauded the vibrant road show, highlighting the confidence instilled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decisive leadership and the promise of transformative changes in his anticipated third term.

The rally, a pivotal component of the BJP's campaign strategy, aimed to bolster support for Parimal Suklabaidya, the BJP candidate contesting the Silchar Lok Sabha constituency. Suklabaidya, who officially filed his nomination papers earlier on April 3, received a resounding show of unity and backing from party stalwarts including Chief Minister Sarma, Assam BJP President Bhabesh Kalita, Silchar MP Dr. Rajdeep Roy, and BJP Assam Pradesh Sah Prabhari Pawan Sarma.
