Suklabaidya, who officially filed his nomination papers earlier on April 3, received a resounding show of unity and backing from party stalwarts including Chief Minister Sarma, Assam BJP President Bhabesh Kalita, Silchar MP Dr. Rajdeep Roy, and BJP Assam Pradesh Sah Prabhari Pawan Sarma.
