Assam: NDA will win in Kokrajhar LS seat, claims Dhananjay Basumatary

Dhananjay Basumatary, executive member of BTC, expresses confidence in NDA's significant victory, estimating a staggering 250,000 votes in upcoming Lok Sabha election.

Speaking boldly, Basumatary asserts that there will be no substantial challenge to his candidacy in Kokrajhar. He dismisses the political prowess of Hagrama Mohilary, suggesting that Mohilary acknowledges his slim chances of success in the upcoming elections.

Basumatary says, "I am hopeful that the maximum no. of voters for this LS election is with NDA. To make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of India for the third time the people of Manas have already begun their preparation".

Basumatary speculates on the motives behind his participation in the Lok Sabha elections, hinting at strategic maneuvers aimed at influencing the outcome of the BTC elections. He insinuates that the involvement of certain political entities is geared towards maintaining the dominance of the Bodo People's Front (BPF) in the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) polls.

Furthermore, Basumatary downplays the influence of traditional waves, asserting that there is no significant surge of support for either the Boro communities as witnessed in previous elections. He also dismisses the impact of Naba Kumar Sarania, stating that Sharnia's candidacy does not pose a substantial threat to his electoral prospects.
