Congress leader Pradyut Bordoloi labels Assam CM as political scientist

Today, at a press conference in Nagaon, Pradyut Bordoloi and Rakibul Hussain talked about some alleged troubling incidents during the nomination filing process. Bordoloi explained how Pradyut Bordoloi remarked that while filing nomination papers it was said that five persons could go. However, unfortunately the police stopped Rakibul Hussain.

Bordoloi also mentioned another incident where someone from AIUDF had no problems entering a government office while the Chief Minister was there. He said this showed unfair treatment.

He says, “the police have done so on the instructions of some of the leaders above. AIUDF Aminul Islam entered the commissioner's office before the chief minister's arrival. But Aminul did not stop Islam.” 

Pradyut Bordoloi filed a complaint with the Election Commission. He held allegations of misbehavior against ASP Parth Pratim Saikia.

Bordoloi further says, “the Chief Minister is a political scientist”.

They also talked about accusations against a police officer and how the Chief Minister seemed to be using false cases to target Congress workers. Even though some workers were pressured, Bordoloi and Hussain said they wouldn't back down. They want things to be fair in the elections.
