Manipur Lok Sabha Elections: Polling booth shut down in Imphal East's Khongman following allegations of malpractices

Polling was halted at 5 Thongju and 31 Khongman Zone in Imphal, Manipur after several women accused of malpractices and caused a disturbance. As a result, the polling officer decided to shut the polling booth, as reported by Imphal East DC.

Simultaneously, sudden gun firing occurred near a polling booth in Thamanpokpi, part of the Moirang Assembly area. 

Luckily, nobody got hurt in this shooting. However, the loud gunfire scared the voters who were waiting to vote, causing them to run away in panic.

This incident takes place today, causing panic among the voters who had lined up to exercise their franchise. The video of this firing incident is going viral, showing how people rushed out of the polling booth when they heard the gunshots.
