Tripura : Congress cannot win elections by blaming BJP, needs vision and mission, says former DyCM

Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister of Tripura, Jishnu Dev Varma, criticized the Congress on Friday, stating that the party cannot win any election due to a lack of leadership, vision, and mission.

In conversation with India Today NE about the Lok Sabha election, Dev Varma said, "Everyone knows the results."

"The election took place in a very peaceful manner. People are happy. I have also received information from other places that polling was held peacefully. We are going to win with a huge margin, with a landslide victory. This election is very historical. PM Modi has done a very good job in the last 10 years. Everything is positive. People trust us. Only PM Modi can solve the problems, and there is no anti-incumbency," said Dev Varma.

He noted that the Congress has not projected any leaders thus far.

"A man who is walking around everywhere is not leadership. Whereas PM Modi, who has been working for the past 10 years to solve problems, has solutions for every issue, starting from development to the Northeast, and beyond. We have a vision up to 2047. We have mature leadership. While the Congress has no vision and is only saying 'no democracy.' However, elections are taking place. They have no leadership, no vision, and no mission as well. In these circumstances, they cannot win elections by blaming the BJP," he added.
