Tripura Lok Sabha elections: CM Manik Saha casts his vote in Agartala

Today, the democratic spirit echoed through Tripura as Chief Minister Manik Saha exercised his fundamental right by casting his vote at a polling booth located in Maharani Tulsibati Balika Vidyalaya in Agartala. CM Saha's participation in the electoral process not only symbolized his commitment to democratic values but also encouraged citizens to actively engage in shaping the state's future.

Dressed in a traditional attire, CM Saha arrived at the polling booth early in the morning, accompanied by supporters and well-wishers.

After voting at Maharani Tulibati Higher Secondary School, Dr. Saha expressed satisfaction, stating, "It feels good to cast one's vote, especially with development in mind."

He urged voters to consider which party would prioritize development, peace, and unity when casting their ballots.

"We must support those who will work for the betterment of our society," he emphasized.

Addressing allegations from the opposition, the Chief Minister remarked, "I haven't observed any irregularities. All polling agents were present inside the polling stations. The lack of substance in their claims suggests they lack support. If any issues arise, I trust the Election Commission of India will address them. We have also instructed for peaceful elections."

The polling process in Maharani Tulsibati Balika Vidyalaya and other polling stations across Agartala proceeded smoothly as of now. As the voting continues throughout the day, the focus remains on fostering a transparent, inclusive, and democratic electoral process that upholds the principles of free and fair elections in Tripura.
