Amitabh Bachchan informed that he has been tested positive for coronavirus. Big B took to his twitter to share his medical condition. He also informed that he has been admitted to Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai.
The actor twitted, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !t," .
Within a few hours, Abhishek Bachchan, son of Amitabh Bachchan also tested positive for the virus.
Abhishek shared the news on Twitter. He wrote, “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you,”
In another tweet, he added that they were complying with the municipal corporation. “The BMC has been in touch and we are complying with them,” he wrote.
After Big B now junior Bachchan is also admitted to the Nanavati hospital and both the actors are undergoing treatment.

Test results of Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will arrive today, informed the health minister Rajesh Tope. He said, "Only Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan's corona report has come as of now. Their family members, staff, drivers etc have been tested for the deadly virus at Nanavati Hospital and the reports are expected to come on July 12."
