Panaji: The South Goa district police on Thursday registered a case against actor-model Milind Soman under IPC Section 294 (Obscene acts and songs) and 67 (Punishment for publishing/transmitting obscene material in electronic form) of IT Act for his social media post where the fitness promoter was seen sprinting naked on a beach in Goa.
Milind Soman was booked for allegedly promoting obscenity. This comes days after an obscene photograph of the former supermodel running on the beach went viral on social media platforms.

According to reports, an organization named Goa Suraksha Manch had given a complaint against Soman for running nude on a beach in South Goa and further circulating those images on social media.
On November 4, Soman uploaded a photo on his Twitter handle showing him running on a Goa beach on his 55th birthday with the caption, “Happy Birthday to me Y…55 and running !
Earlier on Thursday, Model Poonam Pandey and her husband, filmmaker Sam Bombay were arrested by the Goa Police for allegedly trespassing on government property and shooting an ‘obscene’ video.
However, the couple was granted bail the same day. The case was registered against Poonam after a complaint by the state water resources department, which manages the Chapoli Dam, where the video was shot.
