Earlier on March 7, director Rima Das wrote on Facebook, "Delighted to announce that Tora's Husband is nominated in four categories at the Critics' Choice Awards: Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Writing, and Best Editing. Grateful to the jury andCritics Choice Awards. Film Critics Guild Best wishes to all fellow nominees – thrilled to be in esteemed company!".

"Tora's Husband" is a 2022 Assamese drama film written, directed, and produced by Rima Das. The film centers around Jaan, a kind-hearted man who juggles his roles as a loving father, a supportive neighbor, and a struggling businessman in a small Assamese town.
