'Laapataa Ladies' screening: Salman Khan attends with effortless denim look, didn't pose for paps

A special preview of 'Laapataa Ladies' took place in Mumbai on February 27. The film's cast and crew were present and posed for pictures in their finest attire. Among those photographed were Sparsh Shrivastava, Pratibha Ranta, Nitanshi Goel, director Kiran Rao, and Aamir Khan. Salman Khan also attended the screening but refrained from posing for the paparazzi. He was spotted wearing a black T-shirt, shirt and jeans. 'Laapataa Ladies', helmed by Kiran Rao, has been chosen as the inaugural film for the second edition of the IFFM Summer Festival. It is scheduled to premiere in Australia on February 29 at the festival, prior to its release on March 1, 2024, according to ANI. Set in rural India in 2001, the film narrates the story of two young brides who get separated during a train journey and the ensuing investigation led by Kishan, a police officer. The film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, with the script by Biplab Goswami. Sneha Desai penned the screenplay and dialogue, with Divyanidhi Sharma writing additional lines. The cast includes Ravi Kishan, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Nitanshi Goel.
