Anant Ambani, youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, is set to marry Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant. Pre-wedding festivities will occur from March 1 to March 3 in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
The celebrations commenced with 'anna seva', a ceremony where the Ambani family, including the bride and groom, served traditional Gujarati food to locals.
Approximately 51,000 residents are expected to be served food over the course of several days. The 'anna seva' is part of a long-standing Ambani tradition of sharing meals on special occasions.
The pre-wedding functions will showcase Indian culture, with guests receiving traditional scarves made by local artisans.
