The Kuki Christian Church (KCC) Manipur Synod has dedicated its new Centre in Keithelmanbi, Kangpokpi District, marking a significant step following the loss of its previous office in Dewlahlane, Imphal, during the 2023 unrest.
The dedication ceremony took place under overcast skies and included the unveiling of a monolith by Dr. T. Lunkim, Executive Secretary of the KCC Manipur Synod.
The event featured a dedication prayer led by Pastor J. Lunkim, former Moderator of the Synod, and a keynote address by Dr. S. Chongloi, Assistant Executive Secretary, who highlighted the historical and spiritual significance of the new Centre.

Founded in 1943 by Dr. T. Lunkim in Chalva village, Sadar Hills, the KCC has grown into a multi-state Christian body with four Synods: Nagaland, Tripura, Assam, and Manipur.
The church is a member of the National Council of Churches in India and the World Council of Churches.
The Manipur Synod, re-established in Keithelmanbi, also oversees the Trulock Theological Seminary, which offers accredited theological training programs.
The new Centre serves as both an administrative and spiritual hub for the KCC’s members in the region. The dedication reflects the church’s continued efforts to support its community after the challenges of recent years.
