Manipur: 112 Bn CRPF launches "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign ahead of Independence Day

In the spirit of patriotism and unity, the 112 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) based at Kangpokpi District Headquarters formally launched the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign on Monday, August 5.

The campaign aims to inspire every citizen to hoist the national flag at their homes in celebration of the upcoming 79th Independence Day.

The launch event witnessed a spirited turnout, with local civilians, students, and community members actively participating in the campaign. The initiative is part of a nationwide movement to instil a deep sense of national pride and belonging among the people by encouraging them to display the tricolour with honour and dignity.

To broaden its reach and impact, the 112 Bn CRPF also integrated the campaign with the ongoing Peace and Friendship Men's Volleyball Tournament at the Kangpokpi Sports Complex. Players and spectators alike took part with enthusiasm, waving the national flag and reaffirming their patriotic fervour. The vibrant participation reflected a collective spirit of Indianness and unity amid the ongoing peace-building efforts in the region.

The atmosphere was filled with nationalistic energy as the tricolour flew high in the hands of participants and spectators, transforming the sporting event into a celebration of India’s sovereignty and unity.

A CRPF official highlighted the significance of the campaign, stating, “This initiative is not just about hoisting the flag; it is about awakening the spirit of nationhood, especially among the youth and rural population. We are proud to see such wholehearted involvement from the people of Kangpokpi.”

As Independence Day 2025 approaches, the CRPF remains committed to fostering a sense of unity, patriotism, and community engagement through the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, ensuring the national flag finds a proud place in every home across Kangpokpi and beyond.
