The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) mourned the untimely demise of Lieutenant (Posthumous) Kinwibou Pamei, Naga Army No. 41101/06 of the General Headquarters (GHq).

Pamei, who was from Longpram village under Makuilongdi Region, died on June 28th, 2020 while on duty. He joined the Naga national service on October 21st, 2006.

“He served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise. The void created by his demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifices for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished by all,” a press release stated.

GPRN conveyed its deep condolences to the bereaved family members and friends of Lieutenant Kinwibou Pamei and pray the Almighty God grant his soul eternal peace and rest.
