Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reaches Leh, to review Ladakh's security situation

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived at Thoise Airport in Leh, Ladakh, set to interact with the Armed Forces personnel stationed in Siachen, to evaluate the security situation in the Union Territory.

The Defence Ministry Office announced on X that Singh would visit Siachen the next day. Recently, the Defence Minister celebrated Holi with the armed forces at Leh Military station on March 24.

Previously, he was supposed to celebrate the festival with troops in Siachen, but the plan was altered to Leh due to unfavourable weather conditions.
