Jammu and Kashmir: Pregnant woman caught in an avalanche in Zojila, rescued

Late in the evening on April 23, an avalanche hit Panimata, located in the Zojila area of Sonamarg. Amidst this natural disaster, an ambulance transporting a pregnant woman became stranded on the other side. 

Fortunately, the swift action of Team Beacon led to the successful rescue of both the pregnant woman and the ambulance from the perilous situation.

Officials of Beacon said the ambulance which was on its was to Srinagar was hit by a snow avalanche at Panimata in late evening hours.
