GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will meet with NSCN-IM general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah in Dimapur on September 21 for talks.
With this, the Naga Peace Process appears to have reached a political tipping point.
CM Sarma will also meet the NNPGs, according to reports.
Reports suggest that the Chief Minister is expected to visit Nagaland's Dimapur on September 21 to meet with the leaders of the NSCN-IM and the NNPGs.

The meeting's timing is significant because it comes just days after the departure of the former interlocutor and Nagaland Governor RN Ravi and the appointment of new interlocutor Akshaya Kumar Mishra.
Moreover, the former Intelligence Bureau (IB) special director AK Mishra arrived who is in Dimapur will hold meetings with NSCN (I-M) leadership on September 20 to discuss various issues.
The meetings will be held at the Police Complex in Chümoukedima in Nagaland.
Notably, rapid developments in the Naga political issue and related discussions have occurred in the last two weeks.
