Tripura CM assures border security, says infiltration is minimal

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha stated that the state's borders are secure, dismissing concerns about significant infiltration.

Speaking on the issue, he said, "No, there is no facility (for infiltration).

There are 1-2 sporadic instances, but the border is very safe. Usually, they can't cross over, but 1-2 people do cross over. It used to happen earlier as well. This is wrong. They are coming to Tripura as well, but the numbers are low."

"Action is definitely being taken. I think nobody will be able to come in," he added.

The statement comes amidst ongoing discussions about border security and measures to curb illegal crossings in northeastern states.
