Vibrant celebrations mark PM Modi's birthday in Tripura

On a vibrant day the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was celebrated with unparalleled fervor and enthusiasm.

The heart of the festivities, the '2024 Modi Once More Namo Vikas Utsav,' unfolded at the sprawling PWD ground in Kumarghat Sub-division, organised by the BJP MLA Bhagaban Chandra Das of Pabiacherra Assembly Constituency.
Underneath a canopy of hope for Prime Minister Modi's third term, the event exuded an aura of optimism and progress.

The resonant melodies of the renowned Bollywood playback singer Ananya Chakraborty, celebrated for her luminous presence on "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa," and the mellifluous Snigdhajit Bhowmik from West Bengal, captivated the hearts of the gathered multitude.

Das, a former Minister, extolled the global resonance of PM Modi's popularity, underscoring how India's stature has ascended on the world stage.

“The popularity of PM Modi is not only confined to India, but is recognized worldwide. The stature of India has risen, and for this, we take pride in having a PM like him.”

Das further stated that the PM is relentlessly working for the welfare of Gareeb Kalya (the poor).
“He (PM Modi) has undertaken a series of initiatives for the people across the entire country, benefiting individuals from every sector”, remarked the former Minister.

The day commenced with a soul-nourishing Yoga session at dawn, followed by eloquent speeches by eminent social activists. A legion of over 500 volunteers, bedecked in resplendent Namo T-shirts, embarked on a spirited mission to embellish the city with cleanliness.

A heartwarming gesture saw 73 deserving households bestowed with PG ration cards, while 73 copies of the Geeta found their way into the eager hands of students. Simultaneously, 73 specially-abled individuals were furnished with invaluable aids, fostering inclusivity and empowerment.

Amidst the jubilant revelry, a magnificent peace rally painted the streets with unity, drawing participants from all 28 states of the nation.

The illustrious gathering was graced by the presence of luminaries such as former Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, BJP State General Secretary Amit Rakshit, and the sagacious Cabinet Minister from Haryana, Sandeep Singh.
