70 Organisations to protest against CAB 2016 on November 15

The 70 ethnic organisations led by Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) has been rallying for the past four days in protest against the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.

The rally started from five different locations of Assam: Sivasagar, Hahsora, Golaghat, Narayanpur and Barpeta.

KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi said that the protestors would move to Janata Bhawan in Guwahati and seek a clear stand of the government on the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.
