AGP leaders meet Martyr Maneswar Basumatary’s family, offer condolences

Guwahati, February 17, 2019:

Senior members of the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), Assam’s largest regional party, today met family members of Assam’s martyred son Maneswar Basumatary.

AGP President Atul Bora, along with Keshav Mahanta, Phani Bhushan Chaudhary amd Ananta Deka visited the grieving family at their residence in Kalbari village of Assam’s Baksa district. The senior AGP members offered deep condolences to the family of the martyr and also seek justice for the departed.

It is to be mentioned that Basumatary was among the 42 CRPF jawans who were martyred when a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist rammed his explosives-laden SUV into a vehicle in a military convoy in Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
