AGP slams Assam BJP president

Guwahati, November 14, 2018:

The Assam Gana Parishad (AGP) on Wednesday slammed state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Ranjeet Kumar Dass for commenting “No political party could touch BJP.”

AGP leader Ramendra Narayan Kalita said, “BJP is the main opponent of AGP in panchayat election. This is a political comment of Ranjeet Dass and we will see when time comes.”

It may be mentioned that a war of words have been going on among the AGP and BJP in spite of being in alliance. Both the parties have announced to contest independently during the pachayat elections scheduled from December 5.
