Arms & ammunition recovered in BTR’s Baksa before elections

BAKSA: Baksa police personnel today recovered arms and ammunition from Medhaghat area under Barama police station in Baksa district in poll-bound Assam's Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).

The seized consignment includes one M Series Rifle, one revolver, and some ammunition.

"Police have made the seizure after conducting a search operation under the mission to conduct a free, fair and peaceful Assam Legislative Assembly election, slated to be held from March 27 in three phases," officials said.
