ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh is likely to get its second medical college after the Centre promised to build one in the Namsai district.
According to sources, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya offered the assurance when a delegation led by state Health and Family Welfare Minister Alo Libang visited him in New Delhi on Monday.
The state currently has only one medical college, the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) in Naharlagun, near Itanagar.
