Arunachal likely to get second medical collegeITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh is likely to get its second medical college after the Centre promised to build one in the Namsai district.
According to sources, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya offered the assurance when a delegation led by state Health and Family Welfare Minister Alo Libang visited him in New Delhi on Monday.

The state currently has only one medical college, the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) in Naharlagun, near Itanagar.
The ministers also discussed improving the state's medical infrastructure, medical equipment, medicines, and medical services.
Minister Libang, who was accompanied by Lok Sabha member Tapir Gao and Namsai MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom, also discussed the COVID-19 situation in the state.
