Inside Northeast sources have informed that as many as 4 Ministers will be dropped from the Cabinet due to "poor performance." At the same time, several of the portfolios will be shuffled, sources informed. Moreover, it has been suggested that the BJP State President

This resolution was reportedly taken during a recent BJP meeting at the CM's residence that was chaired by Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, himself.

Himanta's proclamation raised many eyebrows, especially as the BJP machine seems to have come to a screeching halt, which was evidenced by the recent election debacle in Jharkhand.
