Diphu, 11 July, 2019:

A latest incident that has occurred in Nagaon district of Assam, which has proven that the guidance of parents is an absolute necessity in a child's life. Due to lack of good school, college and universities in Karbi Anglong, most of the students studying there are compelled to study in faraway places.

However, there are many students who face numerous hardships while staying away from home due to educational reasons.

In an absolutely tragic incident, a student named Bidya Sing Bongrung, who was studying at Nagaon, but originally hails from Chinthong Umlado village, was found dead on July 8.

Bidya Sing Bongrung was a student studying in the 9th standard and was studying at Nagaon Morikolong High School, as reported by Nagoan Karbi Student Association President Abhijit Kro.

The student was fond of learning, so he left his home to study at Nagaon, another district of Assam, which has better educational facilities compared to Karbi Anglong. Though he was studying at Nagaon Morikolong high school, a heart melting incident took place on July 8 at midnight around 2 am. Abruptly in the middle of the night, he started screaming out loud. On hearing the child's screams, the land owner rushed to find the child's hands and legs going into a state of paralysis. He was immediately taken to GD Nursing home for treatment, but his misfortune led him to death.

He was staying at local resident Mara Sharma's residence at Nagaon Morikolong village for his studies, said Abhijit Kro. Thereafter on July 9, parents of Late. Bidya sing Bongrung brought back his death body  home melancholic.
