Biswajit Daimary lays out BPF plans before Lok Sabha election, slams Naba Kr. Sarania again

Guwahati, March 3, 2019:

Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary spoke to the press today at Tamulpur, where the MP is attending the ‘Adya Shraddh’ of Assam’s martyr son Maneswar Basumatary. Daimary spoke about preparations of the BPF party ahead of the Lok Sabha elections and again criticized Lok Sabha MP Naba Kumar Sarania.

“We are conducting many meetings in regards to the election. We are waiting for the election notification to arrive. We will go to all villages and spread our message in due time”, he said.

Discussing his criticism of Lok Sabha MP Naba Kumar Sarania, he said: “The issues using which Naba Kumar Sarania has become MP are not issues at all and thus, they shall never be resolved. He is saying that villages in the BTC villages where non-Bodos number more than 50% must be cut off from the BTC and only then they will be salvaged. But what is his agenda for the villages where non-Bodos are less than 50%? What is his policy? BTC area was not created with regards to tribe and neither is it in the Constitution. These are gimmicks that he is using so that people pour money into his pockets before the elections”.
