The BJP on Tuesday claimed to have two seats in the bag in the Arunachal Pradesh Lok Sabha elections, BJP’s General Secretary Ram Madhav reported.
Madhav took to Twitter and wrote: Victory March of BJP starts from Arunachal Pradesh: Sir Kento Jini has won – uncontested from Alo East constituency.”
After a while, he again Tweeted: “Another victory also from Arunachal Pradesh. Er Taba Tedir won unopposed from Yachuli Assembly segment.”
The elections to the 60-member Arunachal Pradesh Assembly will be held during the first phase of polls on April 11. The Lok Sabha election for the two seats in the state shall also be held simultaneously.
