BJP President Amit Shah is all set to sound the poll bugle for the party yet again in Assam on 5 April. As per reports, this time the BJP supremo will campaign for Nowgong Constituency candidate Rupak Sarmah.
The 'star campaigner' recently visited Assam on 31 March when he campaigned for the saffron alliance's candidate from Kaliabor, Moni Madhab Mahanta, and Jorhat candidate Topon Kumar Gogoi.
Shah made controversial statements during his last visit to the state. He alleged that the Congress has a 'secret understanding' with the AIUDF and accused Tarun Gogoi and Badruddin Ajmal of indulging in "ilu ilu" behind closed doors when no one is looking.
