CONGRESS-AIUDF ALLIANCE NECESSARY TO DEFEAT BJP: BADARUDDIN AJMAL

Guwahati, November 10, 2018:

The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badaruddin Ajmal on Saturday said that Congress-AIUDF alliance is necessary to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming polls.

The remark was made by Ajmal at a meeting in Guwahati organized to work out strategies for the ensuing Panchayat polls.

It may be mentioned that Congress MP from Kaliabor, Gaurav Gogoi had earlier categorically ruled out chances of forging an alliance with AIUDF. Gogoi alleged that AIUDF’s sole motive is to earn profit.
