Jet Airways to withdraw many flights from NE

Guwahati, December 6, 2018:

Experiencing a steady loss over the past three quarters, Jet Airways has now decided to withdraw its flights from the city to Silchar, Jorhat, Aizawl and Imphal in February next as part of a “route rationalisation”

The airline would suspend the flights to Silchar, Imphal, Aizawl, Jorhat in northeastern states from mid-February, leaving Guwahati its sole destination in the region.

This decision of the Jet Airways will have an intense affect in the connectivity of the northeast region.
