Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manohar Lal Khattar will take oath as the Chief Minister of Haryana on Sunday. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh tomorrow.
While BJP’s Khattar will assume office as the Haryana Chief Minister for the second term, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) Chief Dushyant Chautala will be the state’s Deputy Chief Minister.

It may be mentioned here that Manohar Lal Khattar and his JJP alliance partner Dushyant had staked claim to form the government in a meeting with Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya, following which their proposal was accepted.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah had earlier announced the formation of a coalition government with JJP in Haryana.
Following the announcement of the alliance, JJP Chief Dushyant Chautala said that it was important for the BJP to join hands with the party to ‘to give a stable government’ in Haryana.
