Police recover Rs 48 lakh at Guwahati Railway Station

Guwahati, March 3, 2019:

A checking party of Guwahati Railway Police on Sunday recovered Rs 38 lakh cash at Platform no. 4 from the possession of a certain Manoj Francis, aged 39 years and hailing from Thrissur in Kerela.

The suspect, who is currently residing in Rowriah in Jorhat was traveling from Jorhat to Kanyakumari by ‘Vivek Express’. The recovered money was duly seized and the person handed over to the Income Tax Department officials for follow up action.
