Assam Singer Zubeen Garg, while performing at the cultural protest titled “No CAA”, sang “Politics Nokoriba Bondhu,” meaning “Don’t do Politics, my friend.”
Garg was performing at the concert for peace and harmony to protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act on Sunday in Guwahati.

The Assam Engineering College’s field in Chandmari echoed with the chants of “Joi Aai Axom” when students, Actors, Singers and common people gathered to witness the biggest cultural protest against the contentious CAA.
While addressing the gathering in Chandmari, Garg said, “The first thing is that the public should not face harassment in the name of CAA. I request the ones indulging in vandalism to refrain from doing so and let the normal life continue along with the Andolan.”

The Singer has been vocal about the CAA since quite sometime now. He has been sharing about the CAA through his social media handles and urging the people of the state to come forward and oppose the Bill that became a law recently.
