The nation is still grieving the deadly attack where over 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were martyred, which included a jawan from Assam, Maneswar Basumatary of the 98th CRPF Battalion. The terrorists belonging to the Jaish-e-Mohammed targeted a convoy with a car bomb at Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday.
Massive anti-Pakistan protests have rocked different parts of the country in the wake of the terror attack. With “Pakistan Murdabad” slogans and burning of the flag of the hostile neighbouring country being performed, hundreds of angry Indian citizens took to the streets across the country.
Along with the whole nation, people of Assam too have been continuously protesting the dastardly attack, with calls being made to avenge the fallen martyrs by the citizenry.
