The award was presented for 26 different categories. This year, the 'Best Actor' was bagged by Veteran Assamese film star Tapan Das of Brindaban Theater, while the 'Best Actress' award was jointly won by Prastuti Parasar of Abahan Theater and Pranjana Dutta of Hengul theater. The 'Best Actor in a Negative Role' was received by Jibon Hatikakati of Hengul theater, 'Best Male' debut award was won by Debasish Borthakur, the 'Best Choreographer' award was won by Uday Shankar.

'Meerabai' of Hengul theater won the 'Best Popular Drama'; while 'Surjya Theater' won the 'best theater team' award.
The award ceremony was a great success and saw huge participation by eminent mobile theater personalities, civil society members and many more. It may be noted that Dalmia Bharat Cement is the only brand which organizes an awards program exclusively for the mobile theater industry of Assam.
