AGARTALA: Trinamool Congress is not a threat for Tipraha Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA), said party chief Pradyot Manikya on Sunday.
Talking to InsideNE, the Royal scion said, "We do not see any threat from Trinamool Congress".
"I don't want to comment on any other party's fortunes. All I want to say is that in the hills, in the indigenous areas and tribal areas, it is basically TIPRA Motha which s up there", he added.

He stated that his party is not in any competition with TMC and that both the parties are different.
"I think what they would do is.. they'll hurt hurt the BJP bastion", added the Pradyot Manikya.
Tripura is scheduled to go for polls in 2023 and eyeing the election, TMC has started preparing their base to replace the BJP-IPFT government.
Amid this whole charade, Assam CM took a jibe at , Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday stated that he will welcome his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee to the state ‘by rolling out a carpet when she visits’ the state.
Speaking to media, the Chief Minister took a dig further and said, “Polls in Assam & WB took place at same time but not a stone was pelted at any house in Assam.”
